Welcome to meliluso

Meliluso is less of a “who” and more of a “what.” It’s an idea. The founder of Meliluso was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2017. Preferring natural remedies to pharmaceuticals when possible, she made a decision to get her Medical Marijuana card to combat side effects from the radiation and chemotherapy. Her first visit to a medical cannabis dispensary was life changing – as it is for so many! There are so many strains with so many different benefits! So many alternatives to smoking! And bless her detail-oriented, engineering heart: they were labeled with all of the information one needed in order to know exactly what she was introducing to her endocannabinoid system!

She was delighted with how far cannabis usage and studies had come, but she was absolutely ecstatic with the results she saw. Not once did she vomit during her treatments and not more than five pounds did she lose in total. Her aches were minimal and she was well rested.

Why is cannabis use still so stigmatized? Why is it still federally scheduled (illegal)? These are still questions that she has today, but this site is not about the politics of cannabis. There are plenty of resources out there if you are interested in learning more.
